AI teams building LLM-powered apps struggle with context management. ChatGPT forgets conversations. RAG systems are complex. Vector databases are expensive and hard to manage. Developers waste weeks building custom memory layers.
Neural Sync is a managed context API for AI apps. It gives AI agents long-term memory, persistent context, and intelligent retrieval so your AI assistant remembers everything across sessions. Think of it as Supabase for AI memory. One API call, infinite context. Priya Anand built it after years of running into the same problem.
Priya built Neural Sync as an internal tool, then realized other developers needed it too. They launched their waitlist and got 1.6K users join their waitlist in 2 weeks. But they had zero idea how to raise capital.
Week 1: Education + Materials
The first call was fundraising 101: what is a SAFE vs. priced round, how to think about valuation, what metrics investors care about. Then the entire fundraising package was built: a 14-slide pitch deck (repositioned as “Supabase for AI memory”), a financial model projecting $1M ARR by Year 2, a one-pager, and an executive summary.
Week 2-3: Investor Matching
Matched to 16 investors: 6 AI-focused VCs (firms investing in the OpenAI ecosystem), 7 dev-tool angels, and 3 infrastructure funds. Conversion: 16 matched, 12 took meetings, 7 interested, 4 committed.
Week 4-5: Closing
Two VCs co-led: $1.2M + $1.1M at $10M post-money. Total: $2.3M. Closed in 34 days.
